Glossary of Timber Bridge Terminology |
- A pipe or concrete box structure that conveys flow from open channels, swales, or ditches under a roadway, driveway, fill soil, or surface structure. can be made of galvanized corrugated metal, plastic, aluminum or concrete.
- Round, corrugated drain pipe (normally 15" or 18" in diameter) that is installed beneath a driveway and parallel to and near the street.
- A passage below ground level which permits the flow of water; often a large diameter metal or concrete pipe.
- Small bridge or pipe carrying a stream under a railway or road
