Cca (chromated copper arsenate), английский
- A water-based wood preservative containing arsenic, chromium and copper which is used to protect against decay, insects and increase the life of the timber. it is a common pressure treatment which ybc uses to increase the overall longevity of your bridge.
- A pesticide that is forced into wood under high pressure to protect it from termites, other wood boring insects, and decay caused by fungus

- A variable load on a structure (e.g. a bridge) such as moving traffic or pedestrians. it is usually expressed in terms of pounds per square foot. standard loading for york timber bridges are 85 lbs./square foot for pedestrian bridges and 100 lbs./square f
- The total variable weight on a structure. it includes the weights of people, furnishings, snow, wind and earthquake.
