- Single item of cargo described fro freighting, import/export documents, physically carried from one origin to one destination.
- Goods assigned from beyond sea, or elsewhere, to a factor.
- [1] something that is consigned. [2] the act of consigning something. [3] something sent to an agent for storage, sale, or shipment. see also on consignment.
- An agreement between a consignee and a consignor in which the goods are taken responsibility for and transported by a third party, the carrier. may also simply refer to the consigned goods (i.e., the cargo).
- Transfer of goods to a seller while title to the merchandise is retained by the owner.

- Форма комиссионной продажи товаров, при которой их владелец (консигнант) передает комиссионеру (консигнатору) товар для продажи со склада комиссионера. по договору консигнации товары отгружаются производителем или дилером агенту для реализации по наилучше
- (лат. consuigna-tio - подпись, письменное подтверждение) - разновидность договора комиссии. по договору к. продавец (консигнант) поставляет товар на склад торгового посредника (консигнатора), а последний обязан продать товар от своего имени и за счет консигнанта к определенному сроку. договор к. обычно используют для сбыта товаров массового спроса. на к. распространяются требования гл. 51 гк рф о комиссии и гл. 42 гк рф о заеме и кредите, так как к. является по своей сути коммерческим кредитом с учетом следующих особенностей: а) нереализованный в срок товар возвращается консигнанту, если в договор к. не было включено условие о безвозвратности определенной части или всего товара. при условии частично возвратной к. по истечении установленного договором срока консигнатор обязан выкупить у консигнанта не менее установленного договором количества нереализованных товаров: б) расчеты между сторонами осуществляются по мере реализации товаров. при просрочке платежа консигнант вправе изъять товар, а задолженность покрыть за счет гарантий консигнатора: в) если это установлено договором к., консигнант имеет право
