Ставка втёмную (буквально - слепая), которую игрок делает до того, как получил карты; в некоторых разновидностях покера (например, в холдёме) игрок на первой руке обязан ставить блайнд; блайндом также называется сам игрок, сделавший ставку втёмную. различают малый и большой блайнд, когда по условию игры, игрок на первой руке обязан ставить втёмную половину начальной ставки, а следующий - полную ставку, тоже втёмную. за игроком, сделавшим последний блайнд, сохраняется последнее слово в торговле на первом круге игры.
