Often referred to as color blindness, describes a number of different problems people have with their color vision. which means their perception of colors is different from what most of us see. color vision deficiency is inherited and more common among men than women -- about 8% of males and less than 1% of females. this condition makes it difficult to distinguish certain colors or different shades of the same color.
