Insect bite

    A sting caused by an insect which punctures the skin to suck blood, and in so doing introduces irritants comment: most insect bites are simply irritating. others can be more serious, as insects can carry the organisms which produce typhus, sleeping sickness, malaria, filariasis and many other diseases.
