    Gutter, английский
    1. A shallow channel or conduit of metal or wood set below and along the (fascia) eaves of a house to catch and carry off rainwater from the roof.

    4. The inside margins or gap between items (in commercial print the gap between facing pages) is the gutter. the gutter space is that extra space allowance use to accommodate the printers marks that are not part of the job.
