Noise level, английский
- The sound level of a source of noise; expressed in decibels, abbr. db; measured with a sound-level meter. noise reduction, nr the difference in decibels between the average sound pressure levels produced in two rooms by a sound source in one of them. noise reduction coefficient, nrc the average of the sound absorption coefficients of an acoustical material at frequencies of 250, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 hz, expressed to the nearest integral multiple of 0.05. nom on drawings, abbr. for “nominal.”
