Richter is a word used when someone goes into a momentary state of complete shock, anger, or insanity. it can also be used to describe and out-of-hand situation or event. example the crowd went richter after the upsetting defeat of their soccer team. the blazing inferno was utterly richter, and the firefighters were unable to salvage the old warehouse.
