A disease of the adrenal glands, causing a change in skin colour to yellow and then to dark brown and resulting in general weakness, anaemia, low blood pressure and wasting away. treatment is with corticosteroid injections. A disease of rabbits, caused by the bacterium pasteurella or brucella tularensis, which can be passed to humans. in humans, the symptoms are headaches, fever and swollen lymph nodes. also called rabbit fever (note: the us spelling is tularemia.)
