    Овражная эрозия, русский

    Erosio [onis, f], латинский

    Erosio, onis, f, латинский

    Erosion, английский
    1. The progressive removal of a machine surface by cavitation or by particle impingement at high velocities.

    2. The movement of weathered material downslope under the influence of gravity. water acts as a catalyst and as a lubricant. some common types of erosion includes landslides, rockfalls, creep, etc. erosion takes weathered material and puts it in a river so it can be transported to the beach (see strickler`s 3rd law of geofantasy).

    3. The action of wearing away tissue or breaking down tissue

    4. A negative impact on one or more of a firm`s existing assets.

    5. The wearing and removal of soil or rock fragments caused by glaciers,

    6. Destruction of metals or other materials by the abrasive action of moving fluids usually accelerated by the presence of solid particles or matter in suspension. when corrosion occurs simultaneously, the term erosion-corrosion is often used.

    7. Loss of material or degradation of surface quality through friction or abrasion from moving fluids, made worse by solid particles in those fluids or by cavitation in the moving fluid. see wear.

    8. In image processing, condition of a binary image where the pixel in the output image becomes a 1 if each of its eight neighbors is a 1 in the input image. see also closing, dilation and opening. erosion-corrosion: simultaneous occurrence of erosion and corrosion.

    9. (1) loss of material or degradation of surface quality through friction or abrasion from moving fluids, made worse by solid particles in those fluids or by cavitation in the moving fluid. (2) in image processing, condition of a binary image where the pixel in the output image is a 1 if each of its eight neighbors is a 1 in the input image. see also closing, dilation, mathematical morphology and opening.1

    10. Loss of material or degradation of surface quality through friction or abrasion from moving fluids, made worse by solid particles in those fluids or by cavitation in the moving fluid. see wear. erosion-corrosion: simultaneous occurrence of erosion and corrosion leading to an accelerated loss of material.

    11. The process by which material (such as rock or soil) is worn away or removed (as by wind or water).

    Erosion basis, английский

    Erosion channel, английский

    Erosion control blanket, английский
      Противоэрозионный мат

    Erosion control fabrics, английский
    1. Fabrics used in the stabilization of embankments and the containment of silt run-off from erodible slopes. in embankment stabilization, the fabric functions as a filter medium behind stabilizing rip-rap revetments. in siltation control, the fabric acts as a filter to contain silt while allowing excess water to drain freely. in turf reinforcement, the mat is used to retain soil while allowing roots and stems to grow through. in fabric-forming systems for the construction of revetments, a double-layer, water-permeable fabricis positioned, then pumped full of structural grout. these systems are alternatives to rip-rap.

    2. Geotextiles

    Erosion pavement, английский
A surficial lag concentration or layer of gravel and other rock fragments that remains on the soil surface after sheet or rill erosion or wind has removed the finer soil particles and that tends to protect the underlying soil from further erosion. compare - desert pavement, stone line. sw, gsst, gg

    Erosion plot, английский
      Почвенно-эрозионная площадка

    Erosion rate, английский

    Erosion rate-time curve, английский
