Ферримагнитный материал, русский
(1) материал, который макроскопически имеет свойства подобные таковым у ферромагнитного материала, но микроскопически имеет сходство с антиферромагнитным материалом, так как некоторые из элементарных магнитных моментов выстраиваются антипараллельно. если моменты имеют различные величины, материал может все же иметь высокое результирующее намагничивание. (2) материал, в котором неравные магнитные моменты выравнены антипараллельно друг другу. проницаемость имеет тот же порядок величины, как у ферромагнитных материалов, но ниже, чем они были бы, если бы все атомные моменты были параллельны и в одном направлении. при обычных условиях магнитные характеристики ферримагнитных материалов подобны таковым ферромагнитных материалов.
