(экскременты) , содержимое нижнего отдела толстого кишечника, выделяющееся при дефекации. состоит из непереваренных остатков пищи, кишечного сока, клеток эпителия (постоянно слущивающихся с внутренней поверхности кишок), микроорганизмов кишечной флоры. в норме человек выделяет в сутки 100-200 г кала. анализ кала применяют в диагностике многих заболеваний.
