Interlocked

  1. Interconnected components of signalling and signal systems, with or without points or crossings, designed so that no conflicting movements can be signalled.

  2. Two or more components, members, or items of equipment which are arranged mechanically or electrically to operate or to be placed in some specific relationship with each other. interlocked grain, twisted grain wood in which the fibers are angled in different directions every few annual rings; produces ribbonstripe grain when quartersawn. interlocking joint 1. a form of joggle in which a rib or other protrusion on one stone complements a routed groove or slot on another; prevents relative displacement. 2. a joint formed between sheet-metal parts by engaging their edges which have been preformed to provide a continuous locked splice.

Relationship, английский
  1. Отношение: соотношение; связь; взаимоотношение; взаимосвязь

  2. Отношение, степень родства

  3. A way in which someone or something is connected to another the incidence of the disease has a close relationship to the environment. he became withdrawn and broke off all relationships with his family.

  4. Зависимость, соотношение

  5. A connection between objects.

  6. A logical connection between entities.

  7. A smartart graphic layout type that includes layouts designed to illustrate connections.

  8. An association established between common fields (columns) in two tables. a relationship can be one-to-one, many-to-many, or one-to-many.

Directions, английский
  1. Directions for use (on a bottle of medicine, etc.) instructions showing how to use something and how much of it to use

  2. Раскреплённый связями в двух взаимно перпендикулярных направлениях

  3. In the maps application, instructions for how to get from one location to another, either driving or walking.

Interlocking, английский
  1. A general term applied to equipment that controls setting and releasing signals and points to prevent an unsafe condition of the signalling system arising during the passage of a train.

  2. Блокировка; блокирование; запирание

  3. Being joined or connected so that neither part can be operated

  4. In signalling, a system to prevent the setting up of conflicting routes. at first they were mechanical, then electro-mechanical. now they are largely computerised using a two in three voting system or similar protocol. also note the term ssi (solid state interlocking). in the us, the term interlocking refers to an area where junctions and signals are under the control of a signal cabin or "tower".

  5. Interlocking of points and signals, through the locking frame in the signal box, prevents the accidental setting up of conflicting routes.

Protrusion, английский
According to the tia, the fiber optic is either polished even with the endface or has a positive or negative protrusion, i.e., “sticks out” or is recessed

Displacement, английский
  1. Перемещение

  2. Водоизмещение

  3. The weight of water displaced by the immersed volume of a ship`s hull, exactly equivalent to the weight of the whole ship.

  4. The weight, in tons of 2,240 pounds, of the vessel and its contents. calculated by dividing the volume of water displaced in cubic feet by 35, the average density of sea water.

  5. Перемещение, сдвиг, весовое водоизмещение,

  6. The fact of being moved out of the usual position fracture of the radius together with displacement of the wrist

  7. Водоизмещение судна

  8. Водоизмещение; водоизмещающее плавание

  9. The centre of gravity of the displacement relates to the part of the ship under water, considered as homogeneous. the weight of water which a vessel displaces when floating is the same as the weight of the ship. (see centre of cavity.)

  10. Weight of a vessel expressed as either the number of long tons, or the cubic feet of water, displaced by the hull (1 ton = 35 cu.ft of seawater or 35.9 cu.ft of fresh).

  11. The volume of liquid delivered by a single stroke of a pump piston.

  12. Sometimes used as a synonym for offset deflec tion, deviation, dislocation, throw.

  13. The capacity of an air compressor, usually ex pressed in cubic feet of air per minute (c.f.m.).

  14. The weight of water dislocated by the hull of a vessel.

  15. The weight of a boat measured according to the weight of water it displaces. a boat displaces an amount of water equal to the weight of the boat, so the boat’s displacement and weight are identical.

  16. Изменение линейного или углового положения* перемещение, отклонение органа управления

  17. The product of stroke and of cylinder bore and number of cylinders of an engine, representing the theoretical volume of (incompressible) working fluid that can be drawn into an engine with each cycle. see also capacity and swept volume. 45

  18. Displacement is where you change your nearest relative. the process of changing the nearest relative is often known as ‘displacement proceedings’. your nearest relative can be displaced if you or the local authority have concerns about the way that they are behaving. see our pages on the nearest relative for more information.
