Salvo, английский
- A discharge from several pieces simultaneously, as a salute.
- A discharge of artillery or other firearms fired simultaneously, or in rapid succession at the same target, or as a salute. whereas a broadside involves all guns firing together, a salvo may only involve some of them.

A term in marine insurance implying that the underwriters are liable to pay the amount insured on the property lost in the ship, but taking credit for what is saved.
