Ендова, русский
- Желоб, сочленение двух скатов крыши, образующее входящий угол.
- Широкий сосуд с отливом или носком, для разливки питей; медная посудина в виде чугуна, с рыльцем.
- , 1) округлая циркообразная вершина балок и оврагов; иногда сам овраг. 2) котловина, яма, степное блюдце, карстовая воронка. 3) деревянный или металлический древнерусский сосуд ладьевидной округлой формы с широким горлом, употреблявшийся для разлива напитков на пирах.

- В конструкции кровли ендова — это соединение двух элементов крыши в углу, который образуют две плоскости ската крыши, или стык между стеной и кровлей. в отличие от конька является внутренним углом. по ендове, как по желобу, стекает вода во время ливней. ни одна сложная кровельная система не обходится без обустройства ендов.
- В конструкции крыши это внутренний угол между двумя плоскостями смежных скатов или между стеной и кровлей. другое название — разжелобок, точно описывающее предназначение детали: желоб для сбора и отвода атмосферных осадков, воспрепятствующий проникновению воды в подкровельное пространство. в ендове происходит скопление снега в зимний период и активный сток воды во время сильных ливней, что обуславливает серьезную нагрузку на этот кровельный элемент. поэтому при обустройстве кровли необходимо соблюдать технологию изготовления ендовы и использовать предназначенные для этого материалы соответствующего качества.
