Logon script

A file, typically a batch file, that runs automatically every time a user logs on to a computer or network. it can be used to configure a user’s working environment whenever a user logs on, and it allows an administrator to influence a user’s environment without managing all aspects of it. a logon script can be assigned to one or more user accounts.

- Actually this isn’t an nlp term, but one from transactional analysis, but we use it a lot at nlp school. a script is a life-narrative, written and chosen when we are very young, which we then follow subconsciously as adults. as many of these scripts are overdramatic and dysfunctional, one of the jobs of therapy is to change these.
- Script letters are joined and should not be confused with cursive, which are not connected. since script is difficult to read, its use should be limited to a few lines at a time. early script typefaces were developed in the sixteenth century, and were based upon formal cursive handwriting.

- The place in which an organism lives, and the circumstances under which it lives. environment includes measures like moisture and temperature, as much as it refers to the actual physical place where an organism is found.
