    A system to make decisions about the most appropriate housing, services and interventions for each juvenile based on the juvenile’s risk for continued delinquency and needs. classification is a structured decision-making process based on a formal assessment of risk and the need for services including factors such as: the juvenile’s health and mental health status, substance use or abuse, suicidal ideation or attempt history, age, size, current and past charges or court history, gender, educational level, history of violent behavior and history of victimization.
