Conjunctiva, английский
- The thin, moist tissue (membrane) that lines the inner surfaces of the eyelids and the outer surface of the sclera and contains many blood vessels.
- A membrane which covers the front of the eyeball and the inside of the eyelids. see illustration at eye in supplement (note: the plural is conjunctivas or conjunctivae.)
- The white membrane that lines the eyelid.
- The mucous membranes covering the eyeball and inner eyelid

Tubercle, английский
- 1. a small bony projection, e.g. on a rib 2. a small infected lump characteristic of tuberculosis, where tissue is destroyed and pus forms
- Small, rounded lesion
Nebula, английский
- 1. a slightly cloudy spot on the cornea 2. a spray of medicinal solution, applied to the nose or throat using a nebuliser
- An old term for a cluster of stars looking like a cloudy spot till separated by telescopic power; but the term is also now correctly applied to masses of nebulous matter only.
