The angle between the horizontal plane of a louver grid and the plane beyond which the louver conceals all objects above it. louver-type damper a damper, 1 having multiple blades which are mechanically linked so that they open or close simultaneously. louver window 1. a window having louvers which fill all or part of the opening instead of glass. 2. an open window in the tower of a church.
