- (от лат . concretio - срастание, сгущение) (стяжения), минеральные образования округлой формы в осадочных горных породах, возникающие при диагенезе и резко отличающиеся от вмещающей породы составом и формой. в современных океанических осадках распространены конкреции оксидов железа и марганца, образующие рудные скопления.
- Стяжение минеральных компонентов, четко отличающихся от вмещающей среды (осадка, породы и т.д.) составом, формой и другими признаками. конкреции могут иметь концентрически-слоистое или кристаллическое радиально-лучистое строение. по форме конкреции бывают шаровидные, сфероидальные, сплюснутые и др., по составу — очень разнообразны, в осадочных породах наиболее распространены конкреции карбонатных минералов, оксидов железа, марганца и др. конкреции сидерита (fe co3) часто встречаются в отложениях средней юры на военно-грузинское дороге.
- Конкреции более или менее округлые образования, возникшие путем осаждения минерального вещества вокруг какого-либо центра кристаллизации. с этим часто связано концентрическое или радиально-лучистое строение конкреций. мелкие округлые образования обычно концентрического строения называются оолитами. их возникновение связано с выпадением минерального вещества в подвижной водной среде.
