(от спектр и ...скоп), оптический прибор для визуального наблюдения спектра излучения. используется для быстрого качественного спектрального анализа веществ в химии, металлургии (напр., стилоскоп) и т. д. разложение излучения в спектр осуществляется, напр., призмой оптической. с помощью флюоресцентного окуляра визуально наблюдают ультрафиолетовый спектр, с помощью электронно-оптического преобразователя - ближнюю инфракрасную область спектра.
