A disease caused by a deficiency of nicotinic acid, riboflavine and pyridoxine from the vitamin b complex, where patches of skin become inflamed, and the person has anorexia, nausea and diarrhoea comment: in some cases of pellagra the patient’s mental faculties can be affected, with depression, headaches and numbness of the extremities. treatment is by improving the patient’s diet. pellegrini–stieda’s disease pellegrini–stieda’s disease /pel?&ri ni sti d?z d?zi z/
