Товарный знак, русский
- Слово, имя, знак, символ или их сочетание, художественно оформленные и применяемые для индивидуализации и выделения производителей, продающих организаций или товаров среди конкурентов.

(пересмотренное в 1900,1911,1925, 1934, 1957 и 1967 гг.), а также закон рф от 23 сентября 1992 г. № 3520-1 "о товарных знаках, знаках обслуживания и наименованиях мест происхождения товаров". в качестве т.з. могут быть использованы и зарегистрированы словесные, изобразительные, объемные, комбинированные и другие обозначения. словесные обозначения выполняются в виде слов или сочетаний букв, имеющих словесный характер; изобразительные - в виде композиций линий, пятен, фигур любых форм на плоскости; объемные - в виде фигур (линий) или их композиций в трех измерениях;

- A retail and wholesale dealer in supplies and equipment for both individual seamen and vessels. traditional sailing ship items would have included blocks, brooms and mops, carpenter’s tools, cordage, galley supplies, hemp, lard, leather goods, linseed oil, oakum, paper, pitch, rope, rosin, shipwright’s tools, tallow, tar, turpentine, twine, and varnish. a modern chandlery will carry items such as cabin stores, bridge and deck equipment, engine room spares and equipment, safety items, chemical stores, and marine paints. in both periods the chandlery would supply fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meats and seafood, liquor, beer, and tobacco. because commercial ships discharge and turn around quickly, delay is expensive and a dependable ship chandler must be able to fill demands rapidly, either from stock or local sources. some chandlers also serve as ship’s agents.
