Measures applied by the customs to ensure compliance with customs law. note: all goods, including means of transport, which enter or leave the customs territory, regardless of whether they are liable to duties and taxes, shall be subject to customs control (e.g. customs inspection). customs control shall be limited to that necessary to ensure compliance with the customs law. in the application of customs control, the customs shall use risk management.
