Overhang, английский
- The distance between an end of a vehicle and the axle closest to that end.
- The end of timber that is unsupported by rack sticks and extends beyond the ends of most pieces in an air drying
- Outward projecting eave-soffit area of a roof; the part of the roof that hangs out or over the outside wall. see also cornice.

- The continuation of a signal at the output of a device or mixer after the original input signal has faded.
- Used in the context of general equities. sizable block of securities or commodities contracts that, if released on the market, would put downward pressure on prices; prohibits buying activity that would otherwise translate into upward price movement. examples include shares held in a dealer`s inventory, a large institutional holding, a secondary distribution still in registration, and a large commodity position about to be liquidated.
