- In general, this term is used to describe systems or inputs where the current output or state can modify the effect of input. a positive feedback acts as an amplifier or magnifier on the output (e.g., the rich get richer and the poor get poorer). a negative feedback acts to diminish large inputs and magnify small inputs. this becomes important in keeping a system in control or "on target." error-driven feedback systems use the

- – обратное воздействие результатов процесса на его протекание, одно из осн. понятий, характеризующих функционирование и развитие систем регулирования в живой природе, обществе и технике (см. кибернетика). если прямая связь подразумевает передачу сигналов от центрального органа (напр., мозга) к исполнительным органам системы, то обратная связь есть передача в центральный блок информации о результатах управления. в сложных системах (социальных, биологических) обратную связь рассматривают как передачу информации о протекании процесса, на основе которой вырабатывается то или иное управляющее воздействие, усиливающее, ослабевающее, останавливающее процесс. обратная связь обеспечивает стабилизацию параметров управляемого объекта (напр., поддержание постоянной температуры, давления и состава крови в живом организме), рост организма, процессы развития в живой природе и обществе.
