Curie (rt)

Глоссарий терминов по технологиям неразрушающего контроля (NDT)
A unit of measure to express the rate at which a radioactive material decays. it is defined as that quantity of any radioactive material in which 3.7 x 1010 disintegrations per second are occurring. under the new international system (si) of units, the curie will be replaced by disintegrations per second (1 curie = 3.70 x 1010 disintegrations per second).

Curie, английский
  1. The curie (ci) is the traditional unit of activity (where its si equivalent in the becquerel ). 1 ci is equivalent to 3.7 e10 disintegrations per second (dps) and since 1bq=1dps it follows that 1ci = 3.7 e10 bq (approximately). the ci was based on the act

  2. A former unit of measurement of radioactivity, replaced by the becquerel. symbol ci curling’s ulcer curling’s ulcer /k! l??z ls?/

Curie isotherm, английский
Изотерма кюри определяет температуру потери магнитных свойств

Curie point, английский

Curie point (mt), английский
The temperature at which ferromagnetic materials become nonmagnetic and can no longer be magnetized by outside sources. the range of temperatures is 1200°f-1600°f.

Curie point depth, английский
Глубина залегания точки кори* где теряются магнитные свойства вещества

Curie temperature, английский

Curienite, английский

Curiet, английский
    A breast-plate made of leather.

Curie`s law, английский

Radioactive, английский
  1. Radioactive can generally describe the property of a substance (or more accurately atomic nuclei) which are unstable and spontaneously decay (disintegrate) with the release of energy, the energy being either electromagnetic radiation , particulate or both

  2. Радиоактивный

  3. Generally, the property possessed by certain elements, such as uranium minerals, of spontaneously emitting alpha, teta, and/or gamma rays by the disintegration of the nuclei of their atoms.

  4. Atoms that are energetically unstable and decay to a stable condition by emitting radiation are said to be radioactive.

X-ray tube (rt), английский
A vacuum tube intended for the production of x-rays by bombarding the anode with a beam of electrons accelerated under a difference of potential between anode and cathode.

Nanometer (pt), английский
A unit of length equal to one billionth of a meter, or 10-9 meters. the nanometer has replaced the angstrom unit as a measurement of short wave length, and electromagnetic radiation were 1 nm = 10 angstroms.
