Humidifier

Construction glossary
  1. An appliance normally attached to the furnace, or portable unit device designed to increase the humidity within a room or a house by means of the discharge of water vapor.

  2. A piece of equipment that adds water vapor to heated air as it moves out of the furnace. this adds necessary moisture to protect your furnishings and reduce static electricity.

  3. Usually available as an optional accessory, a humidifier is used to inject water vapor into the dry, heated air expelled from a furnace/air handler. the benefits can be improved efficiency and a more comfortable living environment.
