Significant incident

    An occurrence such as a on-rail collision, main line derailment, or level crossing accident that can be managed without sustained external assistance from emergency service personnel and which results in, or has the potential to result in the death or serious injury of persons, the health or safety of persons being affected, significant damage to property or infrastructure, significant disruption to train services, significant environmental impact.
