  5. If r is a binary relationship and p is some property, then the closure of r with respect to p is the smallest binary relation that contains r and satisfies p. for example, with a set a= {a,b,c,d} and a relationship r= {, , }, the transitive closure of r adds the three pairs {, , } to r.

  6. A transformation is closed if its range is contained in its domain. a system is closed if it provides its own explanation and no references to an input are required. circularity is fundamental to most notions of closure. ~

  7. Process by which a person cognitively completes patterns or shapes that are incompletely perceived.

  8. Процесс, посредством которого человек когнитивно завершает узоры или формы, которые не полностью воспринимаются.

  9. Process by which a person cognitively completes patterns or shapes that are incompletely perceived. cobalt-60: radioactive isotope of element cobalt, having half life of 5.3 years and photon energies of 1.17 and 1.33 mev.

Closure -, английский
    Соединительный рельс (на стрелочном переводе)

Closure bar, английский
Of a stair, a flat metal bar connected to the top and/or bottom surface or edge of a stringer along a wall; used to close gaps between the stringer and the wall.

Closure brick, английский

Closure domain, английский
    Замыкающий домен

Closure height, английский
The overall height of the closure proper. closure height is measured from the closure top to the open end of the closure. closure height can be considered in terms of “inside height” or “outside height.”

Closure lining machine, английский
A high speed, specialized machine using a punch’s die or specialized cutters to automatically cut and insert liners into closures.

Closure meter, английский

Closure plug (lube systems), английский
Removable plug on the end of a bore. cloud point – the temperature at which a cloud or haze of wax crystals appears at the bottom of a sample of lubricating oil in a test jar, when cooled under controlled conditions.

Closure properties, английский
    Свойства замыкания

Closure range, английский

Closure removal torque, английский
The amount of force necessary to loosen, open, or remove a closure from a bottle.

Closure skirt, английский
The vertical wall of a closure.

Closure strip, английский
A preformed asphalt or elastomeric filler strip used to close the opening in corrugated sheets at eaves, the lower edge of siding, at window beads, and the like.

Closure stripping torque, английский
The amount of force required to cause the closure and/or bottle finish to distort and override the matching closure-bottle threads.

Closures, английский
A generalization of anonymous functions that assigns values to functional expressions. the function retains the binding context that was current at the time it was created. that context can then be used for references to free variables within the function.

Weld, английский
  1. A metal jointing method accomplished by introducing heat of high enough temperature to allow two adjoining surfaces to melt and fuse to one another. “with motion” – objects sighted through a concave (minus) lens move in the same direction as a concave lens when it is moved from side to side.

  2. To unite metals by heating them to suitable temperatures, with or without the application of pressure, and with or without the use of filler metal.

Weld (seam), английский

Weld all around, английский

Weld all round, английский

Temperature, английский
  1. Température

  2. Dry-bulb - temperature of air as indicated by a standard thermometer.

  3. An expression of thermal energy density. how hot or cold an object is.

  4. The measure of the intensity of heat that a substance possesses.

  5. Температура

  6. Температура тмр test methods and procedures методы проведения испытаний и последовательность их проведения тмр theodolite measuring point кинотеодолитная станция

  7. Temperatura, fiebre

  8. The condition attained when the wetted wick of a wet-bulb thermometer has reached a stable and constant temperature when exposed to moving air in excess of 900 ft (274.3 m) per minute.

  9. 1. the heat of the body or of the surrounding air, measured in degrees the doctor asked the nurse what the patient’s temperature was. his temperature was slightly above normal. the thermometer showed a temperature of 99°f. to take a patient’s temperature to insert a thermometer in someone’s body to see what his or her body temperature is they took his temperature every four hours. when her temperature was taken this morning, it was normal. 2. illness when your body is hotter than normal he’s in bed with a temperature. her mother says she’s got a temperature, and can’t come to work. comment: the average body temperature is about 37° celsius or 98° fahrenheit. this temperature may vary during the day, and can rise if a person has taken a hot bath or had a hot drink. if the environmental temperature is high, the body has to sweat to reduce the heat gained from the air around it. if the outside temperature is low, the body shivers, because rapid movement of the muscles generates heat. a fever will cause the body temperature to rise sharply, to 40°c (103°f) or more. hypothermia exists when the body temperature falls below about 35°c (95°f).

  10. Повышение температуры бетона ~ of truss высота фермы jet ~ высота подъёма горизонтальной неизотермической приточной струи, «всплывающей» над приточным отверстием

  12. Normal adult temperature varies among horses, but will usually range in degrees from 99.5°f to 100.5°f.

  13. A measure of the average kinetic energy of a material. the standard unit of temperature is a kelvin, (k). temperature determines the direction of heat flow between any two systems in thermal contact. heat will always flow from the area of higher temperature (t source) to one of lower temperature (t sink). temperature gradient (?t)

  14. A measure of the degree of molecular motion of a material compared to a reference point. temperature is measured in degrees farenheit (melting point of ice = 32 º f, boiling point of water = 212 º f) or degrees celsius (melting point of ice = 0 º c, boiling point of water = 100 º c).
