    A machine that extrudes a continuous strip of asphalt or concrete through a shaped template as it moves forward. curb joint, brit. curb roll, knuckle joint the horizontal joint that occurs at the intersection of the two slopes of a curb roof. curb level 1. the elevation of the street grade, 2, fixed by municipal authorities. 2. the elevation at the point of the street grade that is opposite the center of the wall nearest to, and facing, the street line. 3. the legally established level of the curb in front of a building, measured at midpoint of the line along the front.
