The global investment performance standards are a set of standardized, industry-wide ethical principles that provide investment managers with guidance on how to calculate and report their investment results to prospective clients based on the principles of fair representation and full disclosure. the gips® standards are sponsored by the cfa institute. the gips® standards (www.gipsstandards.org) are the foundational standards for performance within the reporting standards and inrev performance guidelines.
