- То же, что и вал.
- Результат гравитационного перемещения (без участия воды) обломков пород на крутых склонах. в отличие от катастрофического обвала осыпание происходит постепенно путем скатывания или скольжения. при обильном питании осыпь растет в ширину и высоту, смыкаясь со смежными осыпями, и образует шлейф осыпей. порода, слагающая осыпь, называется коллювием.
