Customs broker

  1. A broker, or agent, who acts on behalf of importers and exporters in the clearance of imported goods through customs, quarantine, shipping and other requirements. in australia the customs broker must be licensed by the acs.

  2. An individual or firm licensed by customs authorities to enter and clear imported goods through customs. the broker represents the importer in dealings with the customs authorities.
