Pintle, английский
- The pin or bolt on which a ship`s rudder pivots. the pintle rests in the gudgeon.
- A pin on which something is hung and about which it revolves; esp. one that projects upward.
- Small metal extension on a rudder that slides into a gudgeon on the transom. the gudgeon/pintle fitting allows the rudder to swing back and forth.
