Глоссарий по искусственному интеллекту
A supervised fuzzy art network. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/. fuzzy associative mmemory (fam) a fuzzy function, or model, that takes a k-dimensional fuzzy input and produces a 1-dimension fuzzy output. comparable to a regression model or a neural network. the model can learn (estimate) from data or have its parameters set in some other fashion, e.g., by the model designer.

Artmap, английский
A supervised learning version of the art-1 model. it learns specified binary input patterns. there are various supervised art algorithms that are named with the suffix "map," as in fuzzy artmap. these algorithms cluster both the inputs and targets and associate the two sets of clusters. the main disadvantage of the artmap algorithms is that they have no mechanism to avoid overfitting and hence should not be used with noisy data. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/. artmap-ic this network adds distributed prediction and category instance counting to the basic fuzzy artmap. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/. art-1 the name of the original adaptive resonance theory (art) model. it can cluster binary input variables. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/. art-2 an analogue version of an adaptive resonance theory (art) model, which can cluster real-valued input variables. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/. art-2a a fast version of the art-2 model. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/. art-3 an art extension that incorporates then analog of "chemical transmitters" to control the search process in a hierarchial art structure.. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/.

Fuzzy, английский
  1. A pleasant and catchy replacement for the f-word as popularized by the disney cartoon character pepper-ann pierson. it is also popular amongst overworked 911 dispatchers. example example what the fuzzy is that substance leaking from that body bag??

  2. Not firm or sound in substance.

Fuzzy, английский

Fuzzy art, английский
A network that synthesizes adaptive resonance theory (art) and fuzzy logic. see also: ftp:://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/faq2.html, http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/art/.

Fuzzy cognitive maps;, русский

Fuzzy controller, английский
    Регулятор с нечетким алгоритмом

Fuzzy count, английский
A measure of the size of a fuzzy set a and defined as the sum of all membership values in a. it is the fuzzy generalization of a classic set notion of cardinality, or size of a set.

Fuzzy cozmplement, английский
The fuzzy complement of a fuzzy set is a fuzzy set whose membership functions are the complements of the original set (i.e., 1-m(a,x) where x are the elements in the original fuzzy set a).

Fuzzy entropy, английский
Fuzzy entropy is a measure of the fuzziness of a set. for a set a and its fuzzy complement b, fuzzy entropy is the ratio of the underlap of a b to the overlap of a b. in classical (crisp) sets, this value is, by definition, 0, since the cardinality of a b is defined to be 0 and the cardinality of a b is similarly defined to be 1 (for a non-empty universe). the larger this value is, for a given set of elements, the fuzzier the set a (and b) becomes. see also: fuzzy set theory, underlap, overlap.

Fuzzy grammar, английский
Нечеткая грамматика; расплывчатая грамматика; грамматика, использующая концепцию нечетких множеств

Fuzzy grouping, английский
In integration services, a data cleaning methodology that examines values in a dataset and identifies groups of related data rows and the one data row that is the canonical representation of the group.

Fuzzy head, английский

Fuzzy index, английский

Fuzzy interface development environment, английский

Fuzzy interface unit, английский
Интерфейс оконечного устройства, применяющий алгоритмы нечеткой логики

Fuzzy interface unit;, русский

Fuzzy intersection, английский
In (crisp) set theory, the intersection of two sets is the set of all elements that are in both sets. in fuzzy set theory, the fuzzy intersection is the set of all elements with non-zero memberships in both sets. the membership function of an element in this new set is defined to be the minimum of its membership in the two parent sets. thus the intersection of a set and its complement (a ^ not-a), which is defined to be an empty set (of measure zero) in classic crisp sets, can be non-empty in fuzzy sets. see also: fuzzy complement, fuzzy set, fuzzy union.

Fuzzy logic, английский
  1. Нечеткая логика fuzzy-logic controller контроллер, построенный на принципах нечеткой логики; контроллер нечеткой логики

  2. A logic system based on manipulation of fuzzy sets. some of the basic rules include definitions for intersections, unions, and complements.

  3. A formal system of reasoning developed by lotfi zadeh in which the values -€oetrue-€? and -€oefalse-€? are replaced by numbers on a scale from 0 to 1.

Fuzzy logic system, английский
An inference system based on fuzzy logic.

Associative, английский
  1. A ассоциативный experiment associatеd a ассоциированный state

  2. Ассоциативный; сочетательный

Dimensional, английский
Размерный; пространственный; имеющий измерение 3-dimensional configuration трехмерная организация 2.5-dimensional configuration 2,5-мерная организация 2-dimensional configuration двухмерная организация

Comparable, английский
    Сравнимый; аналогичный

Regression, английский
  1. Statistical technique used to evaluate relationships among variables (22).

  2. Регрессия

  3. 1. a stage where symptoms of a disease are disappearing and the person is getting better 2. (in psychiatry) the process of returning to a mental state which existed when the person was younger

  4. Regression commonly refers to the process of developing an empirical (data-driven) model to predict and/or explain one or more attributes in a database or set of data. it is most frequently associated with the simple linear model (y=mx+b) taught in most introductory statistics courses; the same ideas have been extended in many directions, including classification problems. when the emphasis is on hypothesis testing and simple models, the regression output is typically a few parameters that provide a direct linkage from the input variables to the predicted variables (or classification). in other situations the emphasis is on explaining as much of the variability in the output variables as is "reasonable" from the input variables. in this case, there are a number of "advanced" techniques, such as smoothing splines, decision trees, neural nets, and so forth, for which there are many "free" parameters. the meaning of any one of these parameters can be obscure. many data mining techniques are, at their core, variations on well-known regression techniques. see also: classification, clustering, decision trees, neural nets.

  5. The reappearance of a previously fixed problem.

  6. The statistical process of predicting one or more continuous variables, such as profit or loss, based on other attributes in the dataset.

  7. A mathematical technique used to explain and/or predict. the general form is y = a + bx + u, where y is the variable that we are trying to predict; x is the variable that we are using to predict y, a is the intercept; b is the slope, and u is the regression residual. the a and b are chosen in a way to minimize the squared sum of the residuals. the ability to fit or explain is measured by the r-square.

  8. A seaward retreat of a shoreline, generally expressed as a seaward
