Reflective glass

Глоссарий по архитектуре и конструкциям
Window glass which has been coated on the outside with a transparent metallic coating to reflect a significant fraction of the light and radiant heat which strikes it. reflective insulation 1. thermal insulation in sheet form which has one or both surfaces faced with a reflective foil of comparatively low heat emissivity; used in building construction with a reflective surface facing an air space, to reduce the transfer of heat (by radiation) across the air space. 2. thermal insulation whose performance depends on the reduction of transfer of radiant heat across air spaces by the use of one or more surfaces having high thermal reflectance and low emittance.

Reflective, английский

Insulation, английский
  1. Material which offers extremely high resistance to the passage of current.

  2. Any material high in resistance to heat transmission that, when placed in the walls, ceiling, or floors of a structure, and will reduce the rate of heat flow.

  3. Any material that slows down the transfer of heat.

  4. Any material that reduces the speed of heat transfer

  5. Изоляция

  9. Изоляция; изоляционный материал

  10. A material used to prevent the flow of heat into or out of a building. often consists of ‘batts’ placed in the ceilings and walls, but can also be metal foil or ‘loose fill’ materials, such as recycled paper fluff.

  11. A material used to prevent the flow of electricity. normally used on electrical wires to prevent electric shock. typical materials used include plastics such as pvc and polypropylene, as well as ceramics and minerals such as mica.

Emissivity, английский
  1. The ability of an object to radiate and absorb energy from its surroundings measured as a ratio of the actual object emission to the blackbody equivalent emission

  2. The ratio of the radiant energy emitted by any source to that emitted by a blackbody at the same temperature.

  6. Variable ratio of the total energy radiated by a given surface at a given temperature to the total energy radiated by a blackbody at the same temperature. emissivity can be total, directional or hemispherical. emissivity is a surface phenomenon depending on surface condition and composition. smooth materials have lower emissivities than rough or corroded materials.1 emissivity values range between 0 for a perfect reflector to 1.0 for a blackbody.
