Internal constraints

Limits placed on behavior by a company’s rules, governance procedures and practices.

Constraint, английский

  3. The difference between a set and a subset indicating that the variety that exists under one condition is less than the variety that exists under another (after ashby). for an observer, constraints become apparent when he finds that a system can assume fewer states than are logically possible or hypothesised by him. within a cartesian product a constraint is the complement of a relation, the former contains all states excluded by the latter. information is a measure of the constraint imposed by a condition or message.

  4. A limitation or a restriction.

  6. Any restriction that occurs to the transverse contraction normally associated with a longitudinal tension, and that hence causes a secondary tension in the transverse direction.

Constraint analysis, английский
A formal method for decomposing the constraint within a whole system into several constraint within subsets of its variables, (i.e., of an ordinality lower than the original) so that the latter fully accounts for the former. constraint analysis thereby reveals the component structure of an observed system. the method, developed by ashby who stated it in set theoretical and hence qualitative terms, is now also known by the name reconstructability analysis and stated in probabilistic and hence quantitative terms (->information theory). 17

Constraint minimization,

Constraint of variety, английский

Constraint operator, английский

Constraint propagation, английский
Many systems have a series of constraints on the values or properties. if these can be represented by a network of relationships, the systems can propagate the local constraints throughout the system to achieve global consistency. generally, when a stable system is updated with new data or a query, the constraints can be iteratively fired to cascade through the system until the values of the system reach a stable state. see also: relaxation procedures.

Constraint reasoning, английский
    See: constraint satisfaction.

Constraint satisfaction, английский
A general term for a variety of techniques used in ai and other areas of computation. constraint solving systems work with a knowledge base of constraints and include an engine to search for solutions that meet these constraints. a constraint solving system will cycle through the constraints, changing the free values in the system to meet some maximization or minimization criteria.

Constraint service, английский
A service responsible for answering hws constraints-related querying by evaluating constraint clauses that are based on facts provided by the fact store manager and the relevant fact retrievers.

Constraint shaping of the weld, английский

Constraint start, английский

Constraint violation, английский

  2. A violation that occurs when the restriction criteria are not satisfied.

Constraint-based configuration, английский
A configuration technology that uses constraints to develop product masters and to configure distinct products.

Constraints, английский

Internal, английский

  2. Interno

  3. A внутренний (ант. external) change, class, grammar, juncture, pause, reconstruction, representation, structure internalized a усвоенный (ант. externalized) language

Governance, английский

  2. Rules, processes and behavior that affect the way decision -making authority (power) is exercised, particularly regarding openness, participation, accountability, effectiveness and coherence.

  3. Governance is a comprehensive and inclusive concept of the full range of means for deciding, managing and implementing policies and measures. whereas government is defi ned strictly in terms of the nation-state, the more inclusive concept of governance, recognizes the contributions of various levels of government (global, international, regional, local) and the contributing roles of the private sector, of nongovernmental actors and of civil society to addressing the many types of issues facing the global community. greenhouse gases (ghgs): greenhouse gases are those gaseous constituents of the atmosphere, both natural and anthropogenic, that absorb and emit radiation at specifi c wavelengths within the spectrum of thermal infrared radiation emitted by the earth’s surface, the atmosphere and clouds. this property causes the greenhouse effect. water vapour (ho), carbon dioxide (co ), nitrous oxide (no), methane (ch ) and ozone (o) are the primary greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere. moreover, there are a number of entirely human-made greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, such as the halocarbons and other chlorine- and bromine-containing substances, dealt with under the montreal protocol. besides co , no and ch , the kyoto protocol deals with the greenhouse gases sulphur hexafl uoride (sf ), hydrofl uorocarbons (hfcs) and perfl uorocarbons (pfcs). grid (electric grid, electricity grid, power grid): a network consisting of wires, switches and transformers to transmit electricity from power sources to power users. a large network is layered from low-voltage (- v) distribution, over intermediate voltage (- kv) to high-voltage (above kv to mv) transport subsystems. interconnected grids cover large areas up to continents. the grid is a power exchange platform enhancing supply reliability and economies of scale. grid connection for a power producer is mostly crucial for economical operation. grid codes are technical conditions for equipment and operation that a power producer must obey for getting supply access to the grid; also consumer connections must respect technical rules. grid access refers to the acceptance of power producers to deliver to the grid. grid integration accommodates power production from a portfolio of diverse and some variable generation sources in a balanced power system. see also transmission and distribution. gross domestic product (gdp): the sum of gross value added, at purchasers’ prices, by all resident and non-resident producers in the economy, plus any taxes and minus any subsidies not included in the value of the products in a country or a geographic region for a given period, normally one year. it is calculated without deducting for depreciation of fabricated assets or depletion and degradation of natural resources.

  4. System of rules to regulate behavior

  5. System of rules to regulate behavior system of rules and processes an organization creates in order to comply with local and international laws, accounting rules, ethical norms, and environmental and social codes of conduct

Procedures, английский
Standard, detailed steps that prescribe how to perform specific tasks.

Interconnected network, английский
Links between systems that can improve reliability or allow interactions across networks. interconnected lines included within the limits of a geographical area or operation.

Import restrictions, английский
