Aliasing

  1. Also known as moir? patterning. this is an effect that occurs when an analogue signal is sampled digitally at a sampling frequency less than twice the signal frequency. the effect can be minimised by a technique known as optical low-pass filtering.

  2. Алиасинг. эффект, воспринимающийся как высокочастотный шум из-за недостаточной частоты дискретизации при аналогово-цифровом преобразовании. уменьшить этот эффект можно с помощью фильтрации сигнала.

  3. Interference phenomenon which occurs when a sampled signal contains frequencies that are higher than half the sampling frequency. a ccd samples the picture spatially. an optical low-pass filter is used to avoid aliasing, especially in color applications.

  4. An effect caused by sampling an image (or signal) at too low a rate. it makes rapid change (high texture) areas of an image appear as a slow change in the sample image. once aliasing occurs, there is no way to accurately reproduce the original image from the sampled image.

  5. The process by which smooth curves and lines that run diagonally across the screen of a low-resolution digital file take on a jagged look as opposed to a smooth, natural rendition. aliasing is an artifact that results from a sample resolution that is not more than twice the frequency of what is being captured, or the nyquist rate. a common form of aliasing is moire. smoothing and anti-aliasing techniques can reduce the effects of aliasing.

  6. This is an effect caused by sampling an image at to low a rate. it causes rapid change (high texture) areas of an image to appear as a slow change in the sample image. once this has happened, it is extremely difficult to reproduce the original image from the sample.

Interference, английский
  1. Effect caused by the introduction of unwanted electrical signals into an electrical circuit. in cctv this results in "noise" in the signal or picture, which disrupts the picture.

  2. Extraneous energy which tends to interfere with the reception of the desired signals.

  3. Disturbances of an electrical or electromagnetic nature that introduce undesirable

  4. “artifactual increase or decrease in apparent concentration or intensity of an analyte due to the presence of a substance that reacts nonspecifically with either the detecting reagent or the signal itself.” [clsi]

  5. Signal

  6. Столкновение прав (заявляемых или патентных); приоритетный спор

  7. A scrambling of the content of signals by the reception of desired signals.

  8. Disturbances of an electrical or electromagnetic nature that introduce undesirable responses in other electronic equipment.

  9. A range of phenomena associated with the superposition of waves

  10. For light, the way that waves add together, depending on their phase. constructive interference occurs when the waves are in phase and their amplitudes add. destructive interference occurs when the waves are 180 degree out of phase and their amplitudes cancel.

  11. N интерференция interfix n интерфикс

Analogue signal, английский
  1. A signal in which the level is represented by a directly proportional voltage. in video the cameras scene is represented by varying the voltage in the video signal where the voltage is directly proportional to the light level.
